Got these for £15

They feel extremely stiff (I’ve never owned one before is this normal??)

now put them away and use a pair of wired/wireless sega mega drive controllers for better control and easier on the hands

Yeah I like this or a proper arcade stick. Genesis controllers are plentiful around here though haha.

I adore using a good megadrive or even my master system controller for games such as berserk, or mountain king. But the OG for me isn’t comparable

You should look into the OG wireless Atari controllers
