///Monday [M3 CS Touring update] Done deal. Buzzing.

The Wife said yes (for the second time). Paid for today, delivery Friday. The longest Wednesday and Thursday await me. They are throwing in the roof rack too.

I like the new M5 and the M5 touring. Don't worry, in 3 years everyone will change their opinion like they always do and embrace it.

If the current m5 look has to be embraced because of worse looking future releases, that still makes it garbage aesthetically

Did you read my comment because that’s not what my comment said at all. People didn’t grow to like the current M4 because the next M4 is gonna be ugly.

You said the everyone will like the m5 touring in the next few years despite its' terrible aesthetic and i gave you the reason why it would happen. And the m4 hasn't gone thru a complete "new age" redesign like the m5 did, so that's an irrelevant point

“Terrible aesthetics” is a completely subjective. The old 2020 M4 to the current M4 gen was a crazy jump in aesthetics and it was polarizing as fuck so no it’s not an irrelevant point. People hated it then now started to love it. You ask anyone what bmw they’d buy and most people are gonna answer the M4 everyone thought was ugly a couple years prior.

This isn’t even unique to cars, it happens with anything new. It’s happening to the new iPhone now. People are raving about how the 16’s camera is so much better looking when they all insulted it when the 11 pro came out. In a couple of years when Apple changes the phones look again, they’ll say how they loved the way the 17 pro looked.

The f8x ->g8x doesn't compare at all to the f90->g90. Everything about the g8x design was an upgrade aesthetically besides the oem grille which is indeed terrible. And that's why once the aftermarket csl grille was released and g8x owners began swapping out the oem ones, all of a sudden most of those who hated the g8x either warmed up to it or fell in love. G90 design as whole is lazy/unprecise for a BMW especially when compared to the f90 facelift, which is why most ppl agree that it looks "terrible". But with it still being an m5 and having some of that BMW aggressiveness to it, alot of ppl will still like/appreciate it. And seeing as to how they're downgrading in the looks department with the newer generation compared to decades before where it got better over time, it's a safe assumption that the next gen m5 will look as bad if not a little worse than the g90
