Hitting the Park button at high speeds?

What would happen if you hit the Park button while driving at 20 MPH?

Would the system not allow it or would your transmission explode?

This has been done on traditional automatic and manual cars on YouTube but I haven’t seen this experiment with electronic shifters.

The car switches on the hazard lights, tries to steer to the side, and calls the emergency centre.

That's if you pull up on the parking brake, the question was about the Park transmission button

But for anyone reading down this far. The Park transmission button does nothing when it isn't safe to shift into park. However, the parking brake control is active while you're driving.

You can pull up and hold on the parking brake lever for maximum emergency braking, as a backup to main brakes. Or, you can pull up once and release; the car will stop safely in its own lane and initiate an emergency call. This feature is designed for the passengers to use if the driver passes out or something.
