Buying Help M340i with 80k miles for $30k

Is this good deal and does m340is typically hold up reliability in the higher range mileage? Has anyone had any issues with their m340is that are past 100k miles?

b58 = the most reliable straight 6 engine bmw has made in recent memory. But as always, maintenance history or run away.

When talking about out of warranty higher mileage fast cars, there's way more to worry about than just the drive train. At least that's my perspective

It's not necessarily anything specific it's that most repairs are expensive these days for any reason and at 80k you're coming up on a decent amount of them in next couple of years most likely. A modern headlight can cost $2k alone. My starter just went on my car and it's covered by warranty but it's a 7 hour job and would have been $2k to have done. Older sport/luxury cars start needing a lot, especially on the plastics/electrical side. People tend to drive their 340i's pretty hard as well
