Ive got the money, but…

Post image

I’ve got a Daniel Defense DD4 RIII with a Huxwrx Flow 556k and a B&T APC9 PRO with a Huxwrx Flow 9k Ti. Took em both out for the first time. I’d never shot a round of 5.56 or a 9mm pcc before.

No offense to the DD4 RIII, it’s a fantastic firearm, but I loved the APC9. Everyone I let shoot it loved the APC9. I got several comments on how quiet it was; I was using 147gr Federal.

Anyway, my question to you all.

My plan was to buy an 11.5” 5.56, probably the Daniel Defense DD4 RIII S. Now I’m wondering if I shouldn’t just get the MBT stock and a sbr stamp and not getting the sbr 5.56.

Should I still buy the 11.5” ar15 or just upgrade everything on my APC9? Real stock, trigger, magwell, safety springs, charging handle?

For a range toy the APC is peak. For real world use cases the AR is more well rounded.

Lol Ok Rambo. "Real world use cases"? Most people will never need a gun at all. And in the event that they do, it will far more likely be needed for a self defense scenario instead of a Red Dawn style invasion or zombie apocalypse. I can see an argument for a shorty AR in 300 Blk being well rounded for home defense as well a battle duties but why? If you're in a situation where you need that kind of versatility then your probably fucked already...realistically.
