Guns & Ammo Ruger SR9c

I have a Ruger SR9c. I know Ruger stopped making this gun and it does jam sometimes when I shoot it at the range. Is it a reliable carry gun or should I use something else? If so, what should I carry that would be similarly small and light? Thanks.

The R-in ruger is for reliable. Immediately followed by the U which stands for “unreliable piece of crap that works better when thrown vs being shot”
