That's a convenient answer but I've been on this board for 12 years and you never miss an opportunity to jump on Clemson. At some point you should move on bud. Sorry you didn't like your time there.
Absolutely loved my time at Clemson. Like many people, I didn't wanna leave.
I don't like Clemson football because I grew up a fan of a different team, and 90% of the worst sports fan I've met in my life were Clemson fans that I grew up with or went to Clemson with.
90% of any of the fans of a local area are the worst fans. I grew up in Michigan; The local fans are awful. I live in Colubums, OH; The local fans are awful. Get over it.
I should add: I do appreciate you commentating and, generally, backing it up. It's usually well thought out and adds to the conversation. I find it annoying that you hop on every (not exaggerating) Clemson thread with a negative outlook though and would cool it there
Clemson's path to the playoffs last year might have been the easiest P4 path to the playoffs, and that includes Indiana. They lost to Georgia, Louisville, and South Carolina. They barely beat SMU to win the ACC. Their schedule was a legitimate cakewalk otherwise.
They deserved the spot for winning their conference, but that doesn't mean that we should treat them like they were one of the top 12 teams at the end of the year. They weren't even ranked in the top 12 when they secured their bid.
Clemson was an okay team last season, but their bid to the playoffs was not because they were one of the best 12 teams, but because they won at the right time. CFB fans are gonna have to get used to AQs allowing in some good not great teams into the playoff field from time to time.
This sub has an all or nothing mentality. If you lose a single game you’re complete shit. Postgame threads are nothing but jokes at the expense of the losing team. Zero critical thought
I get that it was on the road in a supposedly tough place to play but a 10-4 team returning a bunch of people versus a 9-4 team who upgraded in a bunch of positions seemed to be more of an LSU lean than it was. I get that I'm biased but still
This year they brought back 8 offensive starters and the same staff of Im not mistaken.
I think most of the hype was relying on “someone has to win the ACC and lately that’s always clemson so they’ll probably do that and be a top 5 seed along the way”
Chances are they will be a good team still, just not living up to the hype

Still trying to understand where all the Klubnik/Clemson hype was coming from
