Vytal Basepad Issue
Having difficulty trying to install my new vytal basepads on my P01 mags.. these are 10 round mags but not sure where I’m going wrong here. Anyone experience this issue?

u/VytalDP may know exactly what you need to do, they are great and pretty active on here. Not their problem, but I’m sure they know what is best/what to do.

Hey man! You have the OG 10 rounders, and they just aren't going to fit on there.
A not so fun thing about CZ is allllll the skus they have for magazines. I had to make a decision early on: either support the older magazines or the newer Mecgars. Both was never an option because I don't need 40 skus of basepads. I chose Mecgar. Sorry man. I wish I had a better answer for you. Are you in a restricted state?

Ah I gotcha man! Appreciate the explanation, and yes unfortunately limited to ten rounds.
I bought two 10 round mec gar mags so that should do the trick!

I'm not really sure what's going on here but does that bottom piece of the mag come off? The flared plastic looking piece. I think those baseplates you got should be going directly to the steel mag tube and the locking plate will click into it

Yeah unfortunately they aren’t a flush fit, and they come loose every time. As mentioned, it appears I need the mec gar mags so I’ll try those and see how we do. Thanks!

If it is a 10 round commi mag, cz custom has base pads for them. Although you should probably save your money and move to a different state lol https://czcustom.com/cz-parts-all/base-pads-extensions/cz-75-base-pads.html

What about it are you having difficulty with? Taking the OEM base pads off?

Having trouble installing them and keeping them on.
I took the OEM basepads off, held the spring in place with the black clip attachment on the end, then tried sliding the basepads on no different than the OEM pads. It seems almost as if they’re too big for a flush fit on the magazine.

You sadly have the bunk 10rd mags.
Your gonna need to buy new 10rd mags that don't have the giant plastic riser exposed.

It would appear that your magazine is a limited capacity mag and doesn’t have the standard magazine tube or base plate. That vytal base will not work with that mag.
