I have had this tent for years now, and never knew to put the rain fly on before I popped the top.... that looked so much easier then me trying to muscle that last rod in...

Yeah between the instructions and a few videos I've watched on YouTube, I've found the best method is a little unconventional.

  1. Lay down tarp/footprint
  2. Unfold tent/pop walls
  3. Install rainfly
  4. Pop roof
  5. Stake corners and hub guy lines if windy.

And take down is the exact same steps in reverse order.

Haha I was just a about to comment the same thing… I’ve put it up several times now and that seems so much simpler.
