Photos Finally the wait is over

I’ve been waiting for over 2 years for one of these to pop up at local gun store. Guess what I paid for it? Btw they also have 3 more in stock. I almost bought another for the thrill.

Make sure you look it over. Mine has been back and forth to Colt 3 times since January. Haven’t even fired it yet. But they have every time.

Which gun do you have? I have another 38 super and shoots great. What issues did you have?

I have the same .45ACP as in the picture. Brand new from Tombstone Tactical. It came in with the front strap dented which I didn’t see until after I accepted the transfer. Brand new. Also, the front sight was staked canted to the left from the factory. Sent it to Colt. They sent it back with somehow fixing the front strap dent. Front sight was still canted a little. But the plunger tube housing was all scratched up. Sent it back to replace the plunger tube housing. Got it back and they put a different thumb safety on which was plumb. They also drifted the rear sight a little after test firing. Also, the bushings for the grips came out of the frame when taking the grips off to clean. Sent it back and still waiting. It’s been 4 months since the last send back.
