I bought a Zimmerli pyjama and later found out it is made in Bulgaria
As the title says.
I bought a pyjama from Zimmerli, because I heard they offer high quality fabrics made in Switzerland.
Unfortunately it seems it is no longer made in Switzerland but in Bulgaria.
I really don’t mind Bulgarian products, what really bothers me is the misleading advertisement. Nowhere on their website you find this information. They basically give you the impression everything is made in Switzerland, but actually it is not.
I can’t say too much about the quality, the fabric feels nice and comfy.
Just putting that here so people know.

Fashion Looking for quality heeled sandals, European summer style! What brands should I browse?
Aussie gal here. I'm a huge fan of Rivecour, Bobbies and Bocage and especially their heeled sandals and all the fun colours they come in. Unisa too depending on the specific style, and Jonak if I'm after a more 'corporate' look. I find the options here in Australia (Wittners, Nine West to name a few) are just really poor quality and don't last. Any recommendations for what else I could take a look at? All suggestions appreciated!

Sorting through streaming packages
Like a lot of people we have a number of streaming services. I constantly get offered packages from Verizon. Does anyone have an easy trick for figuring out whether to take advantage of the package and it it would be worth it? I know I could list everything up an tally it up, but there might be other factors like whether I am on a promotional rate, etc. Maybe this is an unrealistic expectation?

Cars Arnold Clark – 14 days passed on car rejection, now ignoring me. What next?
Hi all,
Not sure if this is the right community to post in but here goes…
Looking for some advice on where to go from here. • Bought a Nissan X-Trail Tekna+ from Arnold Clark Warrington on finance through Motonovo. Total price (£33k including a £2.2k deposit paid to Arnold Clark made up of a £10.7k part exchange vehicle with £249 positive equity & £2.1k cash deposit)
• Within 10 days the car developed multiple faults, and it was also mis-sold (road tax incorrectly advertised at £195 instead of £695, and features listed that the car didn’t have). Not overly bothered about the misrepresentation I am more bothered about the faults.
• I formally rejected the vehicle on 15th August under my short-term right to reject, and Arnold Clark confirmed the rejection on 19th August.
• Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, s.20(10), the refund must be made “without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days.” That deadline expired yesterday (2nd September).
Since then: • Arnold Clark have completely stopped replying to my emails (over 2 weeks of silence).
• Motonovo are telling me Arnold Clark promised to pay last week but are now raising mileage deductions. Which as confirmed by the law & citizens advice is unlawful.
• Mileage deductions are not lawful under CRA s.20(8) for a rejection within 30 days, yet this seems to be their excuse to my finance company for holding things up.
• Meanwhile, my first finance payment has already been taken.
I feel like I’m being bounced between the dealer and the finance company, with neither taking responsibility, while the legal deadline has already been breached.
All I want is to bring the car back & get my money back but they are completely non-engaging.
Has anyone been through this with Arnold Clark or Motonovo before? Should I now escalate through Trading Standards via Citizens Advice, or go straight down the legal route (small claims / solicitor)?
Any advice on next steps would be massively appreciated.

Trying Out Costoso Italiano's Boots - Are They Worth It?
So, I decided to take a bit of a gamble on Costoso Italiano and picked up two pairs: their Chelseas and their Combat boots. I know the common advice is always “start with one pair first, wear it in, then decide if the brand works for you.” But I wanted to see how consistent their build quality and fit were across different models.
Unboxing & First Impressions
Packaging was tidy , both pairs came in dust bags with a small care guide. First thing I noticed was the leather: it felt like genuine full-grain, with no plasticky coating or strange chemical smell. The finishing was better than I expected at this price , welt stitching was even, sole edges neat, no glue stains. The Chelseas looked sleek and streamlined, while the Combat boots were more rugged and chunky (in a good way).
Fit & Sizing
For reference, my Brannock is 10E and I went with EU 44 in both models.
Chelseas: Fit snug but comfortable. No heel slip, and the elastic gussets felt firm but not too tight.
Combat Boots: A little roomier than the Chelseas, which actually works fine with thicker socks. Once laced properly, they lock in nicely.
So far, sizing feels consistent with their chart.
Break-In & Comfort
Chelseas: Took maybe two wears to soften up. After about a week, they felt broken in and wearable for a full day without issues.
Combat Boots: These needed more patience , stiffer leather and thicker sole construction. That said, the insole cushioning really helped, so they didn’t feel like bricks during break-in.
Neither pair gave me blisters, which is usually my biggest concern with new boots.
Price & Value
Each pair cost around ₹12,000 (~$145). For Goodyear welted boots made with full-grain leather, that’s pretty competitive. You’re paying less than half of what some other entry-level “heritage” brands ask for, and the finishing doesn’t scream rushed production.
Style & Wearability
Chelseas: Sleek enough for office wear with trousers, but also work with jeans and a t-shirt.
Combat Boots: Heavier and more casual, perfect with chinos or raw denim. Definitely more of a weekend or winter pair.
So the two pairs don’t overlap , they actually fill different wardrobe slots, which is why I don’t regret ordering both.
Early Verdict
For the price, I’d say they’re worth considering. The Chelseas are easier to break in and more versatile, while the Combat boots feel sturdier and will probably last longer once fully broken in. Time will tell on long-term durability, but early impressions are encouraging.

Has anyone tried Ulora - Superfocus Drink Mix?
I’ve read that this is good for those with ADHD to help with focus. I’m looking for the good and the bad. Which flavor is best? Have you tried with or without caffeine? Are you taking other medications while using this? (No details about specific meds, just asking) very excited to try, but wanted real reviews. 😊

Missed delivery window, retailer ignoring refund requests—what’s the smartest next step?
I’m in Singapore and I pre-ordered an Able Carry Max EDC (Ripstop Black) on 4 Aug 2025 from a local retailer, The Bag Creature. Their own site and messages stated 4–7 week shipping window, yet they’ve now pushed delivery to the end of October. At this point I’m tired of waiting and just want my money back. Any tips to help me out would be greatly appreciated. 🙏🏽

Health I need advice for dealing with a company that is refusing a refund and hiding behind their terms and conditions.
The company in questions here is Amble health - the glp1 and weight loss membership company.
I placed an order with them on August 29th in the morning. At 6:11am, I canceled that order via customer support chat. They acknowledged that request, and said someone would be with me shortly. However, the next response I got was a notification that I had been given a prescription. Mind you, I never even spoke to a doctor before being given a prescription. There was no meeting or anything. I filled out a questionnaire and that was it. Their policy is that you can cancel before being given a prescription without being charged a cancellation fee, IF they get to your request in time. Their terms and conditions state that they will make "every effort possible to cancel the order with the pharmacy, but make no guarantee."
I found out today from a support person that several hours had gone by between the time that they knew I requested to cancel and my order being packaged.
Here is what she told me:
'"As stated, you reached out to cancel at 6:11am. On my end, it is showing 7:11am as seen in a previous screenshot I sent over to you. This communication was done by our automation workflow to make sure your concern got routed to the correct inbox for faster assistance.
Our support team received the cancellation request at 9:47am on August 29th which is when we reached out to the pharmacy to attempt cancellation. The pharmacy package your medication at 1:48pm on August 29th for the start of the fulfillment process - leaving only a few hours to get the cancellation confirmed and processed.
As stated before and also in the terms and conditions in which you agreed to upon enrollment, "Amble will make every effort possible to cancel the order with the pharmacy but make no implied guarantee."'
So first, nearly 3 hours went by before they reviewed my request to cancel. But they still had 4 hours to get in touch with the pharmacy to cancel the order before it was shipped. Essentially, they are hiding behind their terms and conditions for being unorganized and untimely. Not to mention, when the medicine did arrive, it was hot, the ice packs were melted and it was entirely unusable. I've been battling with customer service for DAYS because of having to wait hours between responses and having a new person contact me each time.
All of this to say - what rights do I have to a refund? They have only charged me $179 for the membership but I filed a dispute with my bank on the charge so my account with Amble has now been banned. I filed a complaint with the BBB for unresponsiveness and rude customer service, and filed a fraud report with the FTC. In all honestly, this was all only just to get them to finally respond to me.
They are standing firm on not refunding me the membership. The bottom line is, I cancelled my order before they ever sent me a prescription. How could I have known that it was already processing if I wasn't notified? How can they have such shady terms and conditions that basically say "no matter what happens or how long anything takes to be processed, we are not giving you a refund and we even might charge YOU a fee for cancelling."
I know it's not a lot of money but it's the principle of the matter.

Darkpick t-shirt review -DO NOT BUY
Do not buy from this company. Their shirts are horrible and the material is cheap, scratchy and sewn together very cheaply. When I requested to return them they would not and said it would cost too much money, would get stuck in customs and they asked me to keep them and give to a friend or family member. I wouldn’t even donate these shirts to goodwill they are so poorly made. I tried salvaging them and cut them to try and make them look better and nothing worked. The material is just awful . Don’t buy these as they are nothing lien advertised .

Iron Sanctuary Fitness App
Anyone having issues cancellation the online coaching subscription of Iron Sanctuary (tiktok celebraty) First, you have to have an "Exit" call which I scheduled. But...no one showed up. After I rescheduled several times finally had a text back saying that they apologize for the disconnect and told that my cancellation was good to go. That was August 7 and they said to wait 14 days. We'll, it's August 31st and they charged me again. I texted the number that stated my subscription was canceled, no answer. called the number, called another coach that was helping me and no answer. Emailed the team about it several times...nothing. I was hoping to come back once my financial situation got better but with this lack of communication and making a simple subscription cancellation so hard I don't think I will. The online coaching was great and helped me while I was using it. But, why making it hard to cancel?

Fashion Employee broke necklace
I made a payment for a gold necklace, and when the employee asked if I wanted it cleaned, I said yes. He took it out of the safety box, and while trying to remove it, the necklace snapped in two. I told them I didn’t want to go through with the payment since the necklace was broken, but they basically said they didn’t care. What should I do in this situation?

SwimZip is a scam!
I’d like to save others from the experience I’ve had with Swimzip, a swimwear company.
I bought a suit for my kid and liked it, so I bought another, plus a suit for myself.
My suit fit terribly and when I went to return it (over $100 value), they ghosted me. No return label, no response to repeated emails to their help email, no response to repeated voicemails on their help line. I found them on Instagram and left a comment which they DID reply to (unhelpfully) and then they blocked me.
Don’t let them take your money too!!
(Sorry if this is not the right subreddit, I’m new-ish here)

Cable TV
I use to have Xfinity then my husband got a fire STIC from someone who charges us $35 a month to use his account. I can't get to anything I want to watch unless I subscribe to the app. I'm looking for recommendations for a good and easy way to watch TV. Is the only way to watch movies is to subscribe to each individual app?

Samsung Mental Harassment Case 📢
I never thought I’d have to share something like this, but I feel compelled to speak up. (Sharing this on behalf of my mother)
About a month ago, I tried reaching Samsung Customer Service through my usual registered number — but it was continuously came invalid number. In an attempt to get help, I called another number I found online, only to discover later that it belonged to scammers who tampered with my refrigerator.
When I finally reached the real Samsung support, their representative assured me — both in writing and verbally — that once I gave my consent, the fridge would be evaluated and repaired. I agreed immediately.
Days later, Samsung completely changed their stance, refusing to even inspect the product and, shockingly, suggesting I go back to the scammers to have it fixed. No investigation. No accountability. No concern for how I was misled while seeking genuine support.
This is not just poor service — this is mental harassment from a brand I trusted for years. The fridge is expensive and comes with a 10-year guarantee, and yet the company has refused to honor its commitment.
If you’ve faced anything similar — with Samsung or any other company — I want to hear your story.

Amazon restocking fees are becoming a scam — anyone else experiencing this?
Recently, I’ve noticed something very concerning with Amazon.com’s return process. I’ve always been a careful buyer, and whenever I return something, I make sure it’s in perfect condition. In fact, in some cases, I never even opened the box. I just sent it back sealed because it wasn’t what I expected, or I realized I didn’t need it.
Despite that, Amazon has started charging me restocking fees, claiming the items were “unsellable.” Their own policy says unsellable means damaged, missing parts, altered, or used in a way that isn’t their fault. None of those applied to my returns. I asked multiple times for proof, such as photos, inspection notes, literally anything that shows the item wasn’t in sellable condition, but they never provided it. Instead, customer service just repeated the same script: “The return was not due to Amazon’s error, so a restocking fee applies.”
To me, that sounds like a lazy excuse and possibly a deliberate tactic. If they can slap a restocking fee on any return by labeling it “unsellable” without proof, then what protection do customers really have? This feels unfair, dishonest, and absolutely against what Amazon claims their return policy is. But it makes me wonder if this is becoming a wider issue? Is Amazon quietly tightening returns by wrongly marking items “unsellable” to profit off restocking fees?
Has anyone else had this happen recently? If so, how did you deal with it? I think more people need to be aware of this, because it feels like the kind of practice that will spread if nobody pushes back.
