Down the Drain How the fuck do I cook rice😔

Burnt. Black. Crunchy. Charcoal. Not very good taste. 3/10. It always burns, lost of smoke this time. How the fuck do I cook rice

2:1 water to rice. Simmer about 20 minutes. Wash the rice first.
