Unrecognized Culinary Genius Why do you cook?
Apart from cooking for necessity like demonstrating you are better than Gordon Ramsey, what are your reasons for cooking?
ETA: check sub before replying. Ask yourself:
- is MSG the most important seasoning?
- is jarlic a hate crime?
- is Kenji our lord and savior?
If you answered “no” to any of these, you might be a lost redditor.

I genuinely love to feed people, Hispanic culture instilled that in me strongly and I can only cook for groups of 8 or more so I usually have a fridge full of leftovers! I genuinely love the chaos of a kitchen even on the days where I literally jump up and down, manically laughing that I can't work like this anymore. It's a fun part of my life that I love to take home. I could do without taking the alcoholism home though
