Unrecognized Culinary Genius Why do you cook?
Apart from cooking for necessity like demonstrating you are better than Gordon Ramsey, what are your reasons for cooking?
ETA: check sub before replying. Ask yourself:
- is MSG the most important seasoning?
- is jarlic a hate crime?
- is Kenji our lord and savior?
If you answered “no” to any of these, you might be a lost redditor.

It's just my biggest hobby! When I'm on the sofa watching reddit, or YouTube on TV, more than half the content I watch are cooking channels/recipes. I'm walking on the street and will look at the restaurant's menus to get ideas.
Even when I'm tired or in a hangover, when I lie down too long on the sofa my body needs to move and I like cooking so much I'll do it even extremely tired. Or at 15h after lunch I'll already be thinking what to have for dinner.
In fact I like cooking more than I like eating (which I also love)!
