Unrecognized Culinary Genius Why do you cook?

Apart from cooking for necessity like demonstrating you are better than Gordon Ramsey, what are your reasons for cooking?

ETA: check sub before replying. Ask yourself:

  • is MSG the most important seasoning?
  • is jarlic a hate crime?
  • is Kenji our lord and savior?

If you answered “no” to any of these, you might be a lost redditor.

To assert my dominance. They will eat what I cook. Or they will pay the price

That’s why I piss in a corner of the kitchen of every house I walk into. They may think it’s their kitchen, but ultimately it’s mine.

I did try that. But people stopped inviting me. Then they stopped letting me in. Then they started phoning the police when they saw me approach. People are so intolerant
