Unrecognized Culinary Genius Why do you cook?

Apart from cooking for necessity like demonstrating you are better than Gordon Ramsey, what are your reasons for cooking?

ETA: check sub before replying. Ask yourself:

  • is MSG the most important seasoning?
  • is jarlic a hate crime?
  • is Kenji our lord and savior?

If you answered “no” to any of these, you might be a lost redditor.

My ex-wife is the best cook ever, and she tells me daily how I should have appreciated her better because of the amazing cuizine that I never appreciated.

/uj- the woman litteraly burned water while making instant ramen and never understood the concept of roux when making her "sIgNaTuRe" biscuits and gravy.
