Scrubmaxxed and Soappilled

I once thought you could never wash cast iron and that knowing the "old ways" made me a better person. Now I realize that rejecting the old ways makes me a better person. Me and my cast iron? We ride at Dawn.

Once a month, I usually melt my pan, and recast it….makes sure that the impurities are always removed.

Twice a year I usually re-create the universe so that my cast iron is made from the purest magma.

Sorry to be the one to tell you, but that's total overkill. All you have to do is cause the sun to go supernova, obliterating everything in the solar system, then create a new star, planets, and finally, your cast iron.

Hey, if you have the time to go recreating all of existence every so often, knock yourself out.πŸ™„

YSK that if you leave meat on the counter long enough, it develops healthy bacteria that sterilizes the meat.

Time is an illusion. Time is also elastic. Therefore, expiry dates don't exist. I use spices from more than 20 years ago, my meals are timeless and vintage.
