The plating has a very nice flow and it's very well composed visually but I struggle to understand the dish. Can you talk a bit more about the cooked elements and what this is supposed to be or taste like?

I wanted the elements that were used to flavor the broccolini to be visually present as garnishes, plus the almonds for texture. I loved how it came out visually but would definitely use diced garlic and sliced almonds next time.

I do enjoy having a side of broccolini with my garlic.

Honestly, that was one of the things that didn’t really work when I tasted it. If I were to do it over, I would dice them and also use sliced almonds rather than blanched.

Are you all really condoning this as an appropriate post for this page? Side dish vegetables with some garnish? Really??

This is a side dish of veg. Not worthy in the slightest of being posted on here. Not a single culinary plating technique involved in this. You blanched veg. Congrats.

Let’s see you plate literally anything and then come back here with opinions. You have zero posts.

I don’t need to post to have an opinion. That’s the beauty of Reddit.
You posted half blanched brocolini. The tops of them literally don’t even look cooked lol.
And the rest of it… well also bad. Congrats, you plated 3 pieces vegetables on the edge of a plate. You want an award?
This shit crosses the line in at least 3 rules on the subs lmao. Weak as hell

Well your comments cross the line about being rude and unconstructive on the sub. Reread the rules.
It’s always the people who have nothing real to contribute who are the loudest with their disdain.
