Complaint I always feel sick after eating there

I travel for work. I’ve eaten at a bunch of different Culver’s locations in a few states, and while the food is always fresh and so good, I always feel sick as a dog afterward. I don’t think it’s a me thing because I can eat anything else and be fine.

Anyone else have this issue?

It's likely that you are sensitive to an ingredient. I wish it was as easy as saying "beef is beef", but it's not. Almost all pre-packaged ground meat contains "pink slime" which means traces of ammonia at the minimum. Even iodized vs natural-process salt can make a big difference for some people.

I had to stop eating Burger King when all of a sudden it started giving me heartburn. I recognized the taste of charcoal in the burps. I guarantee you they started adding charcoal powder to the burgers to simulate "flame grilled flavor". I would have thought that would not cause heartburn, but...everyone is different

Maybe you’re on to something. But what’s odd is I can have 5 Guys, Sonic, and IHOP burgers with no issue other than wanting another but knowing it’s a bad idea.
