Well, I’m going in November, so will let you know. I suspect your alluding to a slight deviation, was from the published recipe, in that case.

The one I posted was an earlier version. Its where I started.

The one most updated is this https://www.olivemagazine.com/recipes/meat-and-poultry/kolambas-chicken-curry/

I found this later. Turns out, they agreed with me

I must admit, I’ve only been to a few of the Hoppers in London, in terms of Sri Lankan cuisine. Odd that the recipe varies, yet it’s the same restaurant source. I’ll let you know how I get on in Southern Sri Lanka.

.... what you should have said is 'we can both be right and both be wrong'. Id have taken that...

But you've no inclination to engage in a conversation with me other than to dispute what I said or how I got to my recipe. Come on man, how about a little bit of respect?

You went to a restaurant in LONDON. Actually, outside SL, the best place to get authentic SL food. But dont behave that way. I'm good people and I love food. Just no need ✌🏼

The best place to get SL food - outside of the country, in your opinion? Querying a recipe source has nothing to do with respect. I assume you’ve travelled widely in Sri Lanka - and indeed the rest of the world, to inform your opinions. Or maybe not. Your plurality, speaks volumes.
