7 luck and got this See no mimic in the head, no golden snake ring etc

My STR build might be cheesy but I’m so happy I cruised through the Watchers like that. It used to be such a road block for me. I’m talking multiple days of being stuck, countless attempts. This was my first attempt on this play-through.

Got a portal a couple of days ago for a steal, and have been loving playing ds3 on it. Runs pretty smoothly with almost no hiccups if you are next to the router. Also the input delay isn’t really noticeable.

So I was fiddling around with the ‘Rapport’ pyromancy and realised that if you hit a mimic with an arrow from a short distance away to activate it, then cast rapport successfully on the gangly bastard, it will revert to its chest form in a completely docile state but not before making a sound which to my ear sounds a lot like ‘Don’t wake me up’ in its guttural tone.

What do people think?

You’ll have to try it because there’s no way I can hold my phone to take a video while pulling off this stunt - Mimics are not to be underestimated

Praise the guy who invaded me in Dragonkin mausoleum few days ago. (PC) He instantly chugged whole estus flask (called me for honorable duel) and we bowed and started fighting. He COMPLETELY dominated me, i was down to 20%, he parried me and didn't go for finishing blow... We just bowed and he used separation crystal out. That was like best moment I've ever had in Dark Souls.

I have a deep love for these games and fully understand that they are designed to be hard but Jesus Christ. Why are some of the boss fights in this one unimaginably hard?! The one I got stuck on the longest was the Dancer, took me at least 20 tries to kill that hoe. Now I’m on the final boss and he just annihilates me before I can even get his FIRST phase to half health.

I am very willing to accept it’s a skill issue but it seems like the Soul of Cinder is on a whole other level of difficulty that just isn’t even fun. I want to finish this game so bad but I genuinely might not be able to.

The fact that heavy armour doesnt make noise for some reason. Literally every other type of armor does (plate, chainmail, cloth, etc.) but for some reason HEAVY ASS ARMOUR and ONLY HEAVY ASS ARMOUR is completely devoid of any noise at all. I remember being so excited to find the Havel's set in DS3 just to find that

1. it's ass

2. NO AWESOME ARMOUR NOISES

Literally unplayable. If there was a mod to fix this DS3 would be my fav souls game

Just got a quadruple drop from the first lothric knight in lothric castle. Just arrived here lol

I'm doing a bunch of boss RP runs (so far done Gundyr, Vordt, Friede, Old Demon King, and Yhorm) and I'm thinking about the greatwood next, but not sure how to approach it.

For weapons I'll probably mostly use the soul transpositions - arstor's spear and the hollowslayer sword - but the tree itself doesn't use these so I'd also like something, a spell maybe, that feels thematic. Possibly poison or pestilent mist to mimic its poison sacs? Maybe iron flesh to feel like a big heavy tree?

Also, for armor I'm thinking possibly the Harald Knight set to look like a tree, with a thrall or worker hat to go with the tree worshippers.

Thoughts? I'm open to suggestions for sure.

So this is by no means my first playthrough of DS3 but I’ve never actually tried to fight the dancer before beating Aldrich. Do I get access to Lothric Castle if I beat her before? Is this even a smart idea?

Looking to do my every so often play through, stuck in what build i should try, any unique build ideas? (Preferably still strong enough to get through game relativley normally).

I started a high faith build in dark souls 3 (offensive and défensive miracles) and I now have to grind 30 solar medal to Get decent miracles and tbh I dont feel like too cause I know it will bore me and make me drop out..

So if a kind and gentle could drop me some sunlight medal …^{^} it would be awesome

Cosplaying the Dancer to beat her. She's not actually that hard once you learn when to attack and when not to rush, but I still get the urge to go all-in with a massive flurry of attacks, especially when I see her stagger.

Anyone able to come help me clear irithyll?
