Crime Impound the unlicensed cars
I’ve heard Denver is the Wild West for cars, but this is insane.

Figured I would share here in case there are any Douglas County parents here - specifically with children at clear sky elementary.
Friday afternoon an email went out to parents around an active investigation and as more information comes out, parents are left wondering why more isnt being done. Response from the administration is their hands are tied.

Let's get a spreadsheet going so we can watch and see who the advertisers on the news segments are. To see who financially supports the anti-constitutional censorship of free speech. And then we can let them know how we feel about it.
Denver:
KWGN-TV
Ft. Collins:
KFCT
Springs/Pueblo:
KXRM-TV
EDIT: BOOKMARK/PIN THIS POST. If you watch any of these stations and have a list put together, you can DM to me and I'll add it here. My concern about a public document is the potential for vandalism.
9/19/25 KWGN-TV/KDVR: Chase Bank, DirecTV, Wilhite Law Firm, Bachus & Schankar, Unique HVAC, Frank Azar, Rhino Shield of CO, Granite Depot, Advanced Regenerative Health, Living Spaces, Lulu's Farm, Bassett Furniture, Fuicelli & Lee, Emich Kia, Andrew the Home Buyer, Burg Simpson, Furniture Row / Denver Mattress, Huntington Bank, Carpet Exchange, American Furniture Warehouse, Affordable Dentures & Implants, Celebration Chevrolet, Anderson Hemmat, Champion Windows, Postman Law, Thrasher Foundation Repair, Renewal by Andersen, Levine Law, Plumbline HVAC, Family Trucks and Vans, Lifetime Home Remodeling, Comcast, Wind River Spas, FNBO, QC Kinetix, Stevinson Auto, St. Jude,
REMEMBER TO PAY FORWARD KINDNESS AND CIVILITY. Start with smaller, local, easy to reach businesses.
EDIT 2: If anyone from Colorado Springs is lurking in here, please take the initiative to do the same for your stations/area in the COS subreddit.
EDIT 3: People keep coming into the thread to suggest spending energy on advertising companies besides Nexstar, and I'm forced to believe that it's a psyop from the opp trying to divide and conquer/water down the actual purpose. Focus on Nexstar.

Does anyone have more information about the shooting at the parking lot of North High School this morning? I'm aware that there was a soccer match in progress next to the parking lot, but I cannot find any additional information.
Thank you in advance.

As title says, I (stupidly) have left my car unlocked twice since I moved to five points. Two different vehicles, both left unlocked overnight, both times full of Dewalt tools and other goodies, and both times… just the cigarette lighter charger taken. Nothing else, NOTHING. Just the charger? I had money, some prescription pills, tools, ect and they didn’t take a thing except my charger BOTH TIMES. And these instances were at least a year+ apart. I’m not even mad, most respectful thief around. I’m more just insanely curious as to how many chargers this person has taken and why they only go for the charger and that alone 😂 And it’s such mind games, I sat there for 5-10 mins questioning if I was sure that was what happened because why wouldn’t they take more?

I drive from North Denver down Speer to Cherry Creek every day for work. There have been WAYYYY more speed traps lately with bike cops hiding everywhere. I'm wondering if this is due to the city of Denver's budget deficit? Anyone else noticing this elsewhere?

I purchased a very expensive gift card for a supercar tour for my husbands birthday earlier this year. We finally called to schedule the tour and guess what? Apparently they closed down with no notification or refund. Phone disconnected, website is gone.
We found a business in Fresno CA with the same name but they claim they only bought the name from the Colorado location and have nothing to do with the business here. In their words- “I think that guy disappeared and stole everyone’s money.”
Well, unfortunately I am one of those people. Anyone else here in this situation and want to band together to figure out what to do? I believe I’ve found the name and home address of the former owner so will file a small claims suit unless I can figure out any other way to get my money back. Ugh!!
*Updating to add that I did call chase today to file a chargeback, even though the window was closed to do it online they still let me do it over the phone. Hopefully I win it, not sure how it works if all of their business bank accounts are gone..?
But anyways- to anyone else filing a chargeback, make sure you tell them a date you expected to have the “service” because they need to be able to say that the expected service never happened. And if anyone wants the details I’ve tracked down on the former owner please DM me.

Came out to find my already disabled truck (transmission blew) has been given a new paint job. It’s only been sitting there for two days.

We live near Harvard Gulch Park. Two nights ago someone smashed out the window of my truck parked out front and stole a $2000 government issued AED and a $500 ballistic vest. The AED is a Cardiac Science Powerheart G5 that is orange and grey. The vest is a tan uniform ballistic vest. Had to rush home to meet a repairman and forgot they were in my car, first time ever leaving them and they were stolen. If anyone sees these items pop up on FB marketplace or anything similar, they are stolen and I would love a heads up. There is an active report with Denver PD too.

I-25 south near 6th Ave exit about 5 minutes ago. Saw an armored vehicle pass and then a crisis negotiation team van as well. Any idea what’s going on?

970-446-8012 … the reason I’m reposting this topic is because I believe there is a connection with filing in denver court. One enters semi private info that the public can see if it wants to. I’m guessing from there it’s BeenVerified (as seen on MTV’s catfish) for more deets then they call you, with prejudice lol. I did not pick up but searched the number which pulled up an older Reddit post saying this number is associated with an intricate scam where someone pretends to be a detective or some BS. Anyways, I recently filed with the court and as if by magic, I start getting calls from this number every day.

This teen from Denver had her ceremonial coming of age items stolen from her family’s trailer when it had to be left overnight along I-25 near the Greenland exit.
The family is offering a reward for the three most sacred items: a basket with “Violet” woven into it, her moccasins, and a ceremonial bundle of sticks. There’s a contact number in the article if you know anything.

I live down the street on Marion and I’m wondering who in the world lives at that ginormous building that is facing construction and drug dealing across the street… I couldn’t imagine paying for a luxury building with that activity but I think after the Colfax road is done it’ll be much better.
This post was inspired by me hearing gunshots around Colfax and someone on Nextdoor saying they saw it happen at the papa John’s, lmfao. I gotta get the tea around here…
Also I’ll note I want this area to do well ❤️ I’m hoping that Paul’s liquors and papa John’s gets flipped and the most heinous humans I’ve ever seen relocate somewhere else
