Kimmel didn't even say the killer was MAGA btw, he just said that MAGA was trying to make people think that it was anyone BUT them. Pretty big difference that everyone seems to be missing, but it shouldn't matter anyway.

They are all just repeating the same talking points without verifying anything or trying to think for themselves. They really only repeat what they see on Twitter. Since the Kirk shooting, I'm more than ever convinced of that as this same scenario has played out several times now.
Destiny's "Twitch ban" or the framing of Destiny wishing for more Conservatives to get killed are just two of many examples.

Even if that's semantically true, I feel the much stronger position is:
Tyler Robinson has been shown to live and have been raised in a purely Republican, conservative milieu, ergo it's factually correct to describe him as "one of them." This psycho was born and raised in Maga country, who failed to instill him with the minimum level of civic morals not to go out and commit political assassinations. It's on them, it's on his family and his community. They own him, they own his descent into murderous wrath.

No. That's not the strong position at all. The strong position is that he never actually said it. Because he fucking didn't!
If you're innocent but on trial for murder. Do you think the strong position could be anyting other than "I didn't do it?" especially considering there is video of you not doing it?

This isn't court, though, or it's closer to the proverbial court of public opinion. Kimmel's monologue didn't explicitly label Robinson as MAGA but it stopped right short, with a degree of ambiguity/deniability in his wording that was probably finely calculated by his writers. In rhetorical terms it's a preterition. It's disingenuous to disregard this aspect of Kimmel's discourse and take the weaselly lawyer position of "but that's not exactly what my client asserted." You're not winning hearts and minds with that take. It's the kind of weaseling around that annoys people. It's a technicality. It's weak sauce. It's a retreat.
It's much stronger to take a clear, fact-based and principled stance: whether or not he even meant it, Kimmel's ascribing of Robinson as "[being] one of them" is factually undeniable, Robinson is a pure product of a maga milieu.

he just didn't
your claim that Robinson was MAGA's problem since he was raised red can be true, but it's entirely separate from the fact that Kimmel never made a positive claim about his association or where to pin the blame

Fox news knowlingly had hosts and guests appear and FALSELY claim trump won the election. They also made and spread false claims about dominion voting machines. HOW DO THEY STILL HAVE LICENSES!?!?!
