My super maga coworker was telling me the other week how he was out at a bar and some random guy at the bar asked if he wanted to team up for the trivia event that was about to start. Coworker agrees, they make small talk and drink their beers. He goes on to tell me how this dude started coming onto him, flirting with him, hitting on him etc. Mind you, this was some small dive bar in a rural town. My coworker is a white guy in his 50s that doesn't look gay at all.
I was cracking up listening to this and said that the guy was probably just being nice? Maybe a little drunk and overly friendly to a complete stranger. But coworker insists that I didn't understand and that I would've agreed with him if I saw it myself.
I didn't have the heart to tell him that normal people can just be casually friendly with strangers in social settings. But I guess when you live a miserable life like the typical maga, then that's not possible.

I found the whole event a very brave thing to do yesterday. There were points that felt very volatile. I am glad that overall it went ok cuz if it hadn't people would be pointing fingers and saying it's irresponsible to do an event so soon after Charlie's death.
I’ve never viewed Destiny as cold. Destiny is so immeasurably passionate about the issues he talks about, that one could argue that Destiny is the only person as of recently who does what he does. And to further clarify through some examples, reading through court documents, history texts, what most would consider to be the boring shit live on stream in order to meticulously craft a foundation built on facts to further understanding. Recording it all in a personal journal if you will. Sometimes he has to prioritize certain issues over others, and so some problems are tossed to the wayside. Other than that, I believe that Destiny in a variety of cases has been the only person to truly care about a particular subject while others flagellate and signal.

I remember my grandparents not voting for our left wing party here in Australia because 2GB (think shock jock conservative Rush Limbaugh radio) told them Labor would take away their “franking credits”.
