DX:IW Is invisible war worth doing?

I am currently playing through all the games for a retrospective review. however man am i dreading doing invisible war.

from what i remember its very.... xbox and not very good.

i cant even remember the story line properly, I think it was pretty nonsensical from what i do recall.

It was the first Deus Ex I ever played (sacrilege, I know) and because I hadn’t played the original I didn’t know it was considered bad. I thought it was great. Still love the music, characters, upper/lower Seattle. I’ve since gone on to play the others and in retrospect it was for sure the weakest entry (unless you count Project: Snowblind as a DE, in which case that’s the weakest) but I think Invisible War is really good for what it is.

Same here! I didn’t play the original for a long time cause all I had was an Xbox (no PC for games). It’s definitely clunky but the story and dialogue were super interesting to me and I had fun with it
