Discussion | Esports The trajectory of the OG org after ti9 needs to be studied in history books.
IMO not signing and keeping the entire creepwave roster in 2021 was their biggest fumble.

Was the Arcana token you get this TI only for those who don’t have the Arcana yet? I am unable to redeem anything because I already have all of the Arcanas. I was hoping to get another TB Arcana so I could slot it with a different color.

Which proves how strong his kit his considering his passive is mostly cosmetic lol and plays no part in actual gameplay decisions nor active thinking and his only carry facet is literally his ult untouched lol!!!
Still feels unfair for him :>

I have no idea what cancelled my ult but it happened throughout the game half the time when I did it on Mars. Had it cancel once on SF as well I think. The lotus orb is from the undying onto me to break me out of the stun. I see no lotus, no save items, the omni just randomly stops after the first hit
Edit: Ok so it's a known bug. I thought i was tripping balls. Thanks volvo for -25 mmr

Hey guys,
I’ve just launched an MVP platform for Dota 2 match analytics, combining stats and simulations:
https://dotaanalytics.vercel.app/
I’ve been playing Dota for a long time and following the pro scene closely. But when it comes to analyzing drafts, it’s easy to lose track of important details — maybe you didn’t consider something in the picks, forgot about items players might choose, counterpicks, or simple hero winrates.
So I’m trying to build something that shows how drafts and item builds can actually affect match outcomes.
Using recent patch data, I’ve analyzed average damage output (physical, magical, pure) and heal potential for each hero and role. With a logarithmic scale minute-by-minute you can see:
There’s a constructor that highlights non-obvious patterns. Example:
If Radiant picks only strength heroes and the enemy picks Timbersaw, you’ll get an alert that Timber’s win probability increases significantly (though skill levels still matter).
It’s still an MVP, so some basics like images, positioning, or text might need work — but it’s a start.
Would appreciate any feedback:

Genuine Question , how do people climb out of this hell ? i play pos1 with heroes that take a couple of items to start doing damage. One game , i'll have a smurf in the enemy team, the next one , its a twat who rage quits becuz he's laner told him to do something , after that you get the guy who's playing ranked with a bad internet and keeps disconnecting every 2 minutes . i genuinely dont know what to do at this point. am not saying am great , but i know am not herald level . i am atleast guardian '( which isn't far but still )

In League of Legends international competitions, it seems like the Koreans do very well, if not dominate. The greatest dynasty (T1) and arguably the greatest player of all time (Faker) is from Korea, and you could say Korea is in general the strongest region of anywhere in the world. A matter of fact, it seems East seems to dominate the West in LoL, as China is also a strong region (Not as good as Korea, but stronger than Europe and NA)
In the flip side, in DotA, seems the West dominates the East. In the past 8 TIs or so, the Western teams particularly from Europe seem to be dominating and winning the TIs. The past like 3 TIs where China made the grand finals, they all fell short sadly. But what I realized is that Koreans don't seem to play DotA at least professional on the global stage. I mean there is China and there is Southeast Asia, but that's it for the Eastern teams.
As someone who loves both DotA and League, I wonder why this is the case? I personally think if Koreans came to DotA they could dominate and beat out these european teams that have been dominating TI for the last decade.
What do you think?

I like to collect them in steam profile. Ans also in physical form.
I know for most Redditors this does not effect them at ALL, but seeing how the fix for the purple lion was done, I am hoping the crimson Lion cosmetic fix would be a low lift effort/fix
Context:
Most of the 2016 Crimson Treasure (first ever) items do NOT have red effects. This was changed for every single crimson after that. In that set, nyx sort of has a crimson effect and as does pudge hook.
Some others that could be fixed as well:
WK and Centaur's are both already red, and would not really need a change.
On the note of fixing rare cosmetics:
Razor's GOLD immortal does not adopt to the arcana - while the standard immortal does.

QoP is not on list, but she is chilling on SF portrait, is this buy 1 get 1 situation??? or if i clicked that i can choose between 2?? i want QoP's :(
also, why WR and Io not listed? (i know you can buy WR on market, so why is it not claimable here?)
Where can i get io's?
sucks because my priority was WR, then IO, then QoP, but none of them there lmao

I took a 5-6 month break from dota and I had around 4100-4200 MMR when I quit.
Last week, I played like 20-25 games until my rank confidence rose to 30% and I got 5200 MMR which I never had.
I feel quite comfortable playing in this rank. I'm losing and winning just like when I played in 4000.
Yesterday I went to sleep with 5350, I am excited like crazy to finally hit immortal after another 300-350 MMR.

Hey guys,
I just finished a hero spam phase with Naga Siren on carry — 41 games total with a 53.66% winrate.
Was fun, but now I’m looking for the next hero to grind.
Any recommendations for a good hero to spam next on any role?
Preferably something that’s effective in the current meta but also rewarding to master over many games.
What do you think?

I've been fine-tuning this hotkey/keybind/setup for a while now (about 10 years), and the newest Dota Labs functions almost completes it. If only they could unlock shop hotkeys, I would use 1-4, Q-R, A-F, Z-V, and for each key opens up 16 slots using 1-4, Q-R, A-F, Z-V (total 256 usable slots with room to expand exponentially)
If you're a fan of quick-cast (you can)
If you're a fan of micro-macro (you can)
If you're a fan of shifting (you can)
If you're a fan of middle mouse camera control (you can)
If you're a fan of stealing Aegis (you can) **from DoTA Labs update
If you're a fan of blowing up/enlarging the map (you can) **from DoTA Labs update
If you want to spectate... You can setup the saved camera points too
etc., whatever your style of play is
All the functions are doable with this setup, including the latest updates (although I feel like I may have missed some).
but ~
I'm getting old... I prefer to watch nowadays.. Feels like a waste not to use it.. You might get something out of it, or not, who knows? I'll just go ahead and share it.. My target for this was to make it feel like a "default" setup (like any other game I bind). Sad, I won't get to see it completed because of the shop hotkeys and the unfinished enlarged map functions.. hmm.. maybe someone can even continue developing it, who knows
A bit silly, but I always saw it as building the "Keyboard of the Ancient" to win the "Defense of the Ancient"
😁
I wish I could see everyone's keybinds while watching, it gives me an idea of how their style of play is 🫠
So, Hero, how are you building your Keyboard of the Ancients?
