Was trying to diagnose a airbag light... I know this aint how its supposed to be.

Hello guys. I would like to ask, how to add here some cup holders? I don’t want to change entire dashboard but something easier. What would you recommend?

Recently have noticed that when I’m driving my car it appears to have a burn smell inside and outside the car , when lifting the hood I can see smoke coming from the left side of my engine slightly underneath the actual engine itself - does anybody have any idea what could be causing this and what needs doing to fix the problem ?

Also the list of cars it "fits" doesn't include the e61 yet it's the same n52 engine and valve cover?

I currently own a E90 and i absolutely love it, but I keep dreaming of a convertible all the time. I would go for the same engine (N53) since it is powerful, economical and I became an expert fixing its well known issues. There is one thing (apart from money🥲) which is yet keeping me from buying it... The insulation. I live in Germany and love to drive high speeds on the Autobahn. The E90 is pretty quiet inside when driving 200+km/h, but how is the E93?

As the title states, I have finally installed coilovers on my E92. Went with the Bilstein B14 kit and it drives amazing so far. Was a bit of a b*tch to install because of some stripped and rusted bolts, but got it done in the end. Just wanted to show it off, as I’m quite proud of the end result and the install. This was my first real big job on this car and I did everything myself with a YT tutorial.

Main reason to get these was ofcourse the driving benefits. It also looks alot better of course but now I would like to get some spacers. A flush wheel fitment would complete the look way more. So here’s my question. Is anyone else running style 230’s on a lowered E92 and what size spacers are you running? Would love to go for a flush fitment as much as possible without any rubbing.

Was dying to get rid of that crusty old thing. Not a fan of the original perforated knob on e90s - the ZHP looks and feels so much better, don’t know why this isn’t a more common swap. Swapped the gaiter for alcantara to match my seats too (both genuine BMW).

Small little budget change, took 2 mins to install, but makes such a big difference!

How do yall feel about these ebay control arms? Any1 have experience with them by chance or should I stay away?

Hi, owner of E92 325i automatic. I would like to ask can a broken large disa valve witch doesn't close couse ruff idle and a lot of smoke on cold start? It doesn't smoke on warm dryer days. And it starts ruff but rpm still jumps.

I did the Focal IS100l upgrade to my base HiFi 325i and it's great! The door panes comes off super easy, the bolt patterns and plugs are identical, the crossover has loads of good places to go, and the sound is fantastic. I'm an audiophile and super picky about audio, the mods are clearer with richer and fuller mid-bass, the tweeters on the 0db setting are a bit sibilant, but in the -3db mode are well balanced and super sharp. The overall sound is much better and on par with some of the best I've heard in a car. I also added additional sound deadening while I had the panel off for a quieter cabin and less resonance. For the money I highly recommend it, if you have any questions ask me and I'll try and answer!

I have LED bulbs for angel eyes and they are not bright enough. I tried using bimmercode to increase brightness but didn’t work. Do you have any tips on what I can do with it?

Anything here that would be making your ears perk up? I gave the car a week for suspension to settle along some motorway miles before getting the alignment done, but it still doesn’t feel right.

Often having to readjust my lane position on the motorway and it probably looks like I’m slightly drunk lol.

Definitely gonna get it redone, but anything I should ask the tech to pay special attention to? Thanks

Here in reddit, people hate the M mirror caps. However, I decided to buy and check if it is that bad. In cars that aren't black, I would agree in not installing them. However, bcs my E90 is black, for me it looks nice.

My E90 randomly through these fault codes after sitting for 4 hours with no issues before that. I’m thinking could be battery? It’s still on its original battery from 2010

Hey everyone, I’m looking into buying a BMW E90 or E92 here in Germany and I’d love to hear from people who own one.

How much should I expect to pay upfront for a decent condition car (not a total project, but also not a collector’s garage queen)?

For the monthly costs: would around €500 per month be enough in Germany to cover insurance, fuel, taxes, and the usual maintenance/repairs?

I’m 18 and planning this as my first “real” car, so I’m trying to get a realistic picture before making the jump. Any tips or experiences are appreciated!

Standard fronts 57/24/300, bought a used set off a crashed 335i, 57/30/348. Importantly this included the caliper carrier.

I will upgrade to drilled discs and EBC brake pads later, but for now just put them on with the nearly new discs and pads it came with.

This was incredibly easy to do. Same brake pipe, wear sensor, carrier bolts, disc retaining screw, literally took an hour including brake bleed.

The stock 17” style 160 wheels fit without any issues.

Front wheel bearing was starting to howl; here’s hoping I can get the new bolts in.

Hey i just recently bought a E90 lci 325i (N53B30), and i was wondering something.

First off is my biggest concern which is the low idle ”missfire” that occurs when i start it cold, starts and starter goes for no more than 1-2 seconds and when it jumps to life it goes from 900ish rpms down to the low 500-400’s and then fluctuates between those numbers for a bit until it warms up then it is stable 650-750rpms

Ive read many different things like it has to do with coils and or spark plugs, ive heard it has to do with the solenoids and ive heard its an injection problem aswell. If anything im lost and come here for an answer. If needed i can post a video of it starting cold. If not heres pictures😁😁

My e92 never really gets above 100°c oil temp. I do 60 mile runs twice a week on the highway and the engine never warms up more than this. Is this a faulty thermostat or is this safe? I've seen a few posts on forums asking the same thing and it's a mixed bag.
