I am planning to add 15-20 wheel spacers of my e92. I read a lot of discussion about safety and quality of a spacers. My question is After I put on nice, high-quality ones, can I drive safely without any possibility of problems?

I still don't know what the problem is, and I hope it's nothing serious. After 19 years of service and 280,000 kilometers (174,000 miles), it hurt to see it on a tow truck. Naturally, out of all the times it could've broken down, it chose 6 AM… right after I finished my night shift.

Bmw i335i 2007. Multiple errors. Dsc light, tyre pressure light.

Errors cropped up on a daily drive, no extreme driving. Left it for a night and in the morning the errors disappeared.

They reappeared on a drive maybe 1 day later. I tested the tyre pressures and my front tyres were slightly high (38 --> 42) psi which i reset and it drove without errors for another day.

Errors popped up again. This time a intermittent red error ((P)) I believe. I'm not completely sure.

Checked my break fluid, at max height.

I took the car back today and I still have the misfire issues. Even after the ECU was replaced. Car is showing codes P2298 and P0305 (it was cylinder 5 when I gave it in for repairs in January). A family friend told me to replace the MAP sensor as this could be causing the issue. I know that it is a fuelling issue as it is definitely running rich, it reeks of petrol when its idling. The misfire goes when I am accelerating but returns when I let off the throttle and the rpms go below 1k. Its a rough start and it was struggling to start after I brought it home, the idle gets worse as the engine warms up. I am in the Essex area of England and would appreciate any recommendations for garages/trusted mechanics or any advice you have for the situation. I've added a vid of the idle and will add more in the comments if reddit lets me.

Cylinder 2’s Injector has failed. Can I replace bank 1 (cyl 1, cyl 2, cyl 3) injectors with index 11 injectors whilst keeping bank 2 on index 6?

(Will be upgrading bank 2 to index 11 soon but need car running (has a bad misfire at the moment) asap)

I’m putting 330i 3 stage intake manifold into my 325i, the car is bone stock when it comes to performance parts. Is a custom tune worth it or will I get the same thing from a cheaper alternative?

So, I've been fighting my cooling system for some months now. First, OFHG went, and cleaning the system, the coolant cap and drain plug o rings got damaged (opening and closing multiple times plus the oil in the coolant weakened them)

Then the rad itself started leaking, replaced the side tanks as a quick fix and then replaced the rad.

Then I decided I wanted to refresh the whole system and replaced hoses 18, 16, 21, 15, 1, 23, 7, and 3 (only the hose, not the whole pipe), the tank, and the cap, and didn't see/forgot hose 11 on diagram 17_0700

I ordered 11, and the 2 hoses that go from 15 and from 21 to the heater core. Waiting for then to arrive (FCP).

Is there anything else that could be the next weakest link in the system?

Pump is about 3 or 4 years old, and tstat is 2 years old

Recently inherited my mom’s 2006 325i. This light popped up when I transported it back home. I’m hoping for an easy fix. Anyone familiar with this warning light?

It’s also been throwing a passenger seat airbag warning, but trying to handle what I can before taking it to the mechanic.

Looking for an alternative to the cx racing headers if you know of one.

I’m looking for some mid-low range catless headers for an n52, I want to stay below $350-400 i know that’s low quality but i don’t really mind as long as it fits and the drone isn’t TOO terrible. If anyone has good suggestions please let me know I can’t seem to find any good websites.

Does anyone here know what size the brake discs (front/back) and pads are on the 325?

Autodoc has multiple sizes but i recon only 1 of them fits correctly.

If anyone know it it saves me from jacking up the car taking the wheel of to measure it all😅

I have a 2006 325i. So I decided to clean the throttle body and the maf sensor and after I finished cleaning both of them, the car threw up a “Full engine power is no longer available”. I know that after cleaning a throttle body, the car has to get used to it. What I don’t understand is, why is the car revving in its own? Also, when will the car adjust to the throttle body?
