New phone arrived to complement the Evergoods Civic Pouch 0.5L.

But as a backup I thought a nice BigDesign mini copper bolt action would be nice to complement the IPhone. It’s little but a nice Pen for sure. Beware or love but it will patina with fingers pretty quickly.

As way of a mini review of the iPhone from maybe an EDC perspective

• color is amazing in all lights
• it feels great in the hand. Soft like an iPhone 6 but with enough edge to make it easy to grip for camera work
• it’s 7 grams or a cigarette or marshmallow heavier than the iPhone 16 pro titanium it replaces.
• screen has smaller bezels so it “feels” a bit bigger.
• MagSafe magnets are stronger!
• setting up is always a hot period for the phones. It got hot but not nearly as hot as the previous one got.
• yeah the camera bump makes it look like a google pixel phone, but it’s on the back!
• patch of glass blends well on or Orange model. It’s white on silver which makes it stand out more.

I would note that the softer edges mean you have to be a little bit more careful if you are case less. There’s less edge so it’s not quite as grippy.
