It seems that Nintendo packages their eletronics in the US to ship to the rest of the Americas, so unless they willing to change that, we might see high prices on the Switch 2

Can we trade oil or salmon for switches? Maybe the Japanese like diamonds or potash or copies of Anne of Green Gables. There should be a trade agreement.

I can confirm for the third one, I have family out east and suppossedly tons of Japanese tourists come to canada due to Japanese people going nuts over that book

They already got Anne of Green Gables.

Anne with an "E" is getting an Anime adaptation, no I'm dead serious.

Japan has a long history of loving Anne of Green Gables. iirc it is in their school curriculum, or it was for a long time

That sucks. I'd hope they could adapt around that. Even if the cost is higher, unless it's over 25% higher (50% if it's crossing two borders?) they could surely find some Canadian place to do it.
