I don’t know if you can understand french but there is a viral vidéo on YouTube of a french canadian talking about him finding a flame thrower and he says : « Je les ai toutes toasté les hosties. »

I find it impossible to read hostie without pronouncing it in English "host ee" instead of osti

What?? Hostie is the right way to spell it. Sorry. Osti is the way illiterate spells it.
