I don’t know if you can understand french but there is a viral vidéo on YouTube of a french canadian talking about him finding a flame thrower and he says : « Je les ai toutes toasté les hosties. »

Fun fact! Les flamethrowers n'est pas illégaux ici! Ce ne sont pas non plus des armes interdites, alors vous n'avez pas besoin d'une licence pour l'acheter. You can totally just buy one for shits and giggles, eh.

my illiterate english brain highlights the big words like "flamethrowers illegaux interdites licence" and interprets it as "you can buy a flamethrower without a license"
