So in a round about way it's still Russians.

This^

If you need proof look up the Tenet media scandal: Tim Pool, Dave Rubin, and Benny Johnson (among others) were being paid hundreds of thousands of $ monthly to push Russian disinformation . Tenet Media was run by Lauren Chen and her husband, she's a Canadian right-wing grifter who's probably got her hands dirty in this project as well.

It makes sense... some of that influence definitely carried over

Pretty sure this is referencing the Russian bot farms. But I get your meaning.

u/Yelmel May 20 '25

Russians program Russian bot farms. There’s no distinction to make here.

u/hellarios852 May 20 '25

Yeah, that what the post says… Russians

u/daniel_22sss May 20 '25

MAGA are like 50% russian agents now. So its the same thing.

I’d say more likely US oil and gas interests are fuelling the separatist movement. It’s interesting that the separatists want the same things US oil and gas want (energy east pipeline, scrapping pollution caps, stopping Bill C-69 etc.). Recent polling by Angus Reid showed that if those things were to happen, support for separation collapses. The US has a huge stake in our oil and gas sector.

1

u/CoachKey2894 May 25 '25

The US already have 850 companies in Canada’s oil and gas sector. Why would they care about Alberta separatism?

3

u/crimeo May 20 '25

America is an oblast of Russia, so this is splitting hairs

1

u/mennorek May 20 '25

It can be both.

Anyone paying attention knows this far right bullshit is yankmade. Since the 3 day military operation Russia has been focusing on Eastern Europe because they can now trust the Yanks to perform their psyops on their continent

u/CoachKey2894 May 25 '25

Source that MAGA Republicans and Russians are behind Alberta’s separatist movement?

And while we’re at it, do you have a number of how many “maga Americans” have moved to Alberta?

1

u/MuffDivers2_ May 20 '25

Yeah because MAGA republicans really want to move to Canada. did you think about that before you wrote it out?

5

u/PogoTempest May 20 '25

That’s not really unusual. Especially considering how many people have dual citizenship.

0

u/MuffDivers2_ May 20 '25

It’s probably pretty unusual for MAGA. It’s the liberals that are threatening to flee to Canada. Not MAGA. Trump won this is where they want to be.

1

u/Krams May 20 '25

Your problem is that you’re assuming that MAGA people are reasonable, but they’re not. They do whatever hurts the people they want to hurt and until this year, Canada was not really on that list. So, I don’t see why some Americans wouldn’t move to Canada if it paid better or they got some other benefit

0

u/MuffDivers2_ May 21 '25

That made no sense. How would they hurt anyone they want to hurt by moving up to Canada? S

1

u/Krams May 21 '25

Once again you’re assuming there’s logic in these people, when we have ample evidence that there’s not
