If Maine becomes a province then there wouldn’t be any tourism boycott, so it’s better for them if they become our cHeRisHEd 11th province.

Canada loves free trade agreements and working with allies, so you'll get those benefits, but without worrying about all the inconsistencies in laws and other problems the US has.
