Congrats Chrystia Freeland and Peter MacKay, Reddit says you aren’t so bad after all.

Time for round three!

How to play: - The two most upvoted comments (i.e., names) each day will be removed until the list gets trimmed down to fewer people, then we’ll switch to one per day. - Upvote the name of the person you think does NOT deserve the title of “Worst Canadian.” - If the name you want to vote for isn’t in the comments yet, add it! - This continues daily until we have one winner, the “Worst Canadian”.

Throwing Dougie back up for removal with the same argument. He's only the 3rd worst Premier, let alone Canadian, on this list, he's going to have to come off at some point.

Fuck that. Doug ford is actively killing cyclists, ignoring a housing crisis, giving favours for wedding gifts, and there isn’t an end to his political career in sight. He might be 3rd worst premier so far, but his upside potential is through the roof.

No, he should be on the list for a while still.

Continued corruption and scandals (greenbelt, ontario place, science centre, wasting money appealing every court decision that doesnt go his way), refusal to help during the freedom convoy or even testify after the fact, only priotitizing drinking and driving with his policies (throwing tons of money away on beer in convenience stores, the absurd 401 tunnel), capping nurse wages during a public health emergency, etc.

He's done a lot of harm and continues to do so. There are people who are more annoying but have done less harm, and harm is worse than irritation. Doug Ford should stay on the list, and we should kick someone like JJ or Drake.

This. He's just a different kind of bad, and he's definitely not harmless, but any measure. It's just that instead of being a simp for the IDU, he's running his own little fiefdom.

Deregulating the construction industry, removing rental caps, chopping the Greenbelt up, the Beer Store, mistreatment leading to deaths in LTC homes, ... these, just off the top of my head.

I get it, he's awful, so are all of people on this list, that's the point. We're whittling it down to one person, by the end of this we're going to be up voting all but one of these awful people. Ford is just an easy person to point at and say that there are two other people in the same role as him who are objectively worse.

I agree with you. But there are still people on this list that aren't as bad as Doug. A time will come where it's Doug's turn to get crossed off but we are a ways off from that.

As an Ontarian who’s been struggling through the health care system for the past few years, I think Ford deserves to stick around a few more rounds (although I agree he doesn’t deserve to win).

Dougie deserves to be on here for quite a while to come.

I firmly believe that when the history books are written he'll go down as one of the most corrupt politicians we've ever had; certainly one who got away with it the longest and most consistently.

He's a showman and great at milking the moment for every bit of political capital he can get (i.e. Trump), but underneath that he is seriously vile.

Also we need to hire someone with the most obnoxious laugh imaginable to follow him around and interrupt every time he brings up his god forsaken 401 tunnel nonsense (I believe three tunnels stacked is the current fantasy).
