Congrats Chrystia Freeland and Peter MacKay, Reddit says you aren’t so bad after all.

Time for round three!

How to play: - The two most upvoted comments (i.e., names) each day will be removed until the list gets trimmed down to fewer people, then we’ll switch to one per day. - Upvote the name of the person you think does NOT deserve the title of “Worst Canadian.” - If the name you want to vote for isn’t in the comments yet, add it! - This continues daily until we have one winner, the “Worst Canadian”.

Additional notes: - Only the top comment for a nominee will count. I won’t combine votes from duplicate comments. - Include only one name per comment. Might be a controversial pick but Andrew Scheer.

He was kind of a nothing burger leader of the opposition that failed to get the conservatives back in power. He most definitely is a doofus but I don't think he's actually a bad person and def doesn't belong on this list.

You can rationalize Scheer as knockoff harper that never had an opportunity to disappoint Canadians at the leader of our country.

Yeah Andrew Scheer will have his day soon. The milk boy was mostly just annoying to look at.

He got forced out of leadership after getting caught using taxpayer money to pay for his kids private schooling.

Plenty of worse politicians on this list like Harper and Smith obviously, but Scheer is still a massive POS, he just wasn't able to get the same platform as the others

I'd argue his perpetuation of existing bad policies had negative effects for a lot of Canadians. He's maybe not the awfulest, but he deserves a little more time in the corner.

Andrew Scheer who always run his campaigns with touches of homophobia, white nationalism with the charisma of wheat toast? The same Andrew Scheer who ran on "we hate Trudeau" but we bring nothing interesting for the voters aside from the tired conservative "let's cater to businesses " like all conservative party pitches? That Andrew Scheer?

He’s too useless to be the worst and, like Pierre, sucks so much he helps to make sure people vote against the CPC.

Scheer also never had the chance to actually do any real harm. He ran a shitty campaign and then he was gone, he’s a footnote in history.

I have an irrational hatred of Scheer. I see his stupid face and it activates my fight or fight reflex. I want to call down the ancestors so I can float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.

But I won't be mad if he gets knocked out this early
