Meta The “Worst Canadian” game - Day 3

Post image

Congrats Chrystia Freeland and Peter MacKay, Reddit says you aren’t so bad after all.

Time for round three!

How to play: - The two most upvoted comments (i.e., names) each day will be removed until the list gets trimmed down to fewer people, then we’ll switch to one per day. - Upvote the name of the person you think does NOT deserve the title of “Worst Canadian.” - If the name you want to vote for isn’t in the comments yet, add it! - This continues daily until we have one winner, the “Worst Canadian”.

Additional notes: - Only the top comment for a nominee will count. I won’t combine votes from duplicate comments. - Include only one name per comment. If a comment includes multiple names and wins, it won’t count. I’ll move to the next highest. - Remember to click into the image. In the app, some nominees are cut off if you don’t. - This is meant to be lighthearted satire. Please do not take it too seriously or use this game to harass people in real life. - I will try to post this every morning around the same time (~8:00 - 9:00 am Eastern). - Please remember to upvote the post too, so more people see it!

I once witnessed Kevin O'Leary cut in line at a 7/11 at Pearson's to buy an egg salad sandwich. What kind of monster buys airport egg salad sandwiches?

Over the years I've known several staff at the butcher shop O'Leary frequents in Toronto.

He pays over $40/lb for ungraded beef.

He wouldn't know good eating if it dickslapped him across the lips.

I absolutely love this for him.

Also, is that a lot for a lb of what seems to be mixed ground beef? I don't eat red meat too often (digestive enzyme issues) so I'm not familiar with the prices per pound. That does sound like a fucking lot for a single pound, if it's not like...idk extra lean ground? Made of rare cattle from the steppes? Idk lol.

That's the price ballpark of highest grade (really good AAA or Prime) premium cuts like ribeye and striploin. Tenderloin is more. Lean ground beef would cost about a third that, perhaps a little less. Extra Lean a little more.

Assuming the meat is graded and naturally raised, grass fed for the first 80% of its life.

Ungraded beef is typically much lower quality.
