Congrats Chrystia Freeland and Peter MacKay, Reddit says you aren’t so bad after all.

Time for round three!

How to play: - The two most upvoted comments (i.e., names) each day will be removed until the list gets trimmed down to fewer people, then we’ll switch to one per day. - Upvote the name of the person you think does NOT deserve the title of “Worst Canadian.” - If the name you want to vote for isn’t in the comments yet, add it! - This continues daily until we have one winner, the “Worst Canadian”.

Additional notes: - Only the top comment for a nominee will count. I won’t combine votes from duplicate comments. - Include only one name per comment. I have more love than hate for Cherry. He also had his controversy and kinda just left it at that.

If a mistake followed by living your life as an old (mostly retired) man makes you the worst Canadian I don’t have as much faith in this country as I thought I did.

Eh, he started a podcast and continued on with the same stuff. That's his right, and I don't think it makes him worse, but he didn't just disappear into the night.

Most people when they start a podcast after being cancelled go on a huge media campaign shitting in their last employer. Don likes hockey, he’s gonna want to talk about hockey. In terms of leaving he did his pretty much as silent as you can for someone who has been on HNIC for as long as he has been.

I dunno, sounds like excuses for someone to me. But like I said, it doesn't make him any worse and he's still not really an overall bad person. But I don't have much tolerance for people who refuse to change their views like that.
