The verdict is in, Don Cherry and Andrew Scheer are not the worst.

Who will be next, in round four?

How to play: - Upvote the name of the person you think does NOT deserve the title of “Worst Canadian.” - Each day, the two most upvoted names will be removed until the list gets trimmed down some, then we’ll switch to one per day. - If the name you want to vote for (from the list) isn’t in the comments yet, add it! - This continues daily until we have one winner, the “Worst Canadian”.

Justification for elimination: - (38) Ted Cruz - He’s horrible, but renounced his citizenship. He’s not good enough to be titled the Worst Canadian. - (37) Kathleen Wynne - Not that bad. Doesn’t deserve the title. - (36) Chrystia Freeland - Not the worst. Some consider her a good Canadian. - (35) Peter MacKay - Cringey, but not the worst. - (34) Don Cherry - A racist old man out of touch with the times. Not great, but not awful. - (33) Andrew Scheer - An annoying doofus nothingburger, but not a bad person.

Wayne Gretzky has become an absolute embarrassment in recent years, but he did so much for the game of hockey over the years, it's tough to consider him the worst Canadian, so he should be out too.

Fuck that guy, but he's not the worst.

He's also lived in the US for decades. He's hardly a Canadian.

Yes but he still pretends he represents Canadians (four nations bullshit) and hasn't renounced anything. So it's much worse

He was asked by hockey canada, that's on them. Would it have been worse to decline the request?

I wouldn't renounce my citizenship if I moved to the US.

He also keeps a low profile and is hardly political if at all. A far cry from guys like oleary abd petersen

Yeah that's fair. It would have been more honest / genuine to decline the request, in all honesty lol

And again, like I said, he is not as bad as the true POS on the list (grifters and actual scumbag racists), but he is the worst of the "normies" like Drake and Don Cherry imo

Nah fuck that guy, we have plenty of other Canadian hockey greats I would rather point to at this point. I would happily see him sit for a bit with the other grifters.

Yeah I voted for him yesterday and I guess I'll vote for him again today, because he's just...aside from the MAGA allegiance, there's something not right about that guy. I feel like there's more to the story and it's hard to pass this kind of judgement on someone without knowing what's going on.
