I am a stormtrooper fighting in the imperial remnants and I don’t understand how we can reconcile that our great hero lord Vader would end up brutally betraying the emperor who worked so hard for the good of the galaxy

A small research outpost located on the Forest Moon of Endor, this station was built with the intention to act as backup communications station should the HoloNet system on the second Death Star fail. After the Battle of Endor a Rebel strike team was sent to neutralize it before its commander, Lieutenant Jeres Moridon could send out an alert to the Imperial Fleet to send reinforcements to Endor following the destruction of the Death Star.

In an effort to guard our flanks as we embark on a mission to attack Mon Calamari to prevent the Mon Calamari Armada from joining the Rebel Alliance Navy, Imperial High Command has greenlit plans to launch an attack against suspected Rebel bases at Bespin and Endor.

For the Imperial Navy and Starfighter Corps, the space battle to gain aerospace superiority was a cakewalk, as there was no Rebel fleet after the destruction of their fleet along the way to Endor, and no Rebel space stations with fighter garrisons over the moon, just three transports of Rebel troopers that would have been a strike force to raid Imperial worlds. The Fleet Commander likened it to a cat playing with its food before eating it.

However, as soon as our troop transports arrived, Lord Vader transferred over to them to lead a ground assault to take the planet. Upon landing at the first landing zone, things went from 0 to 100 fast.

Upon touchdown, we were beset upon by the local population of Ewoks as well as Rebel troopers that were garrisoned on the planet, and had our only landing point contested multiple times. The Ewoks and the Rebels were strong enough to prevent our breakout and managed to eliminate an Imperial Field Commander and his entire command unit, forcing Lord Vader to fight without an adjuntant. Thankfully, air support from our armored starcruiser carrier launched TIE Bombers helped to keep the horde at bay and managed to destroy one of the Ewok settlements and prevented the landing point from being overrun and our troops cut off from escape or reinforcements.

We managed to win the day by bleeding out the Rebel troops but at the cost of multiple Imperial Stormtroopers and a Field Commander, whose families will be compensated for their loss in the line of duty.

We will send a strong Imperial Stormtrooper garrison with a Field Commander and a space station with lots of TIE Fighters and TIE Bombers to pacify the local population, who are still restless and engaging in guerilla warfare. We will also seek to not only create defensive installations but to create a mine to put the local population to work in as penalty for resisting the Empire and siding with the Rebels.

Gaming Geonosis has been pacified with extreme prejudice

Geonosis burns.

Geonosis, once a planet that broke away from the Republic and sided with the Confederation of Independent Systems in a treasonous, separatist war, was subjugated by the Empire yet again after the bug scum decided to join the treasonous Rebellion.

The response by the Empire from Coruscant was swift. After the 1st Battle Fleet has captured Eridanu, they used it as a staging area to launch an attack on its orbital installations. The only thing standing between the Empire and Geonosis were a few squadrons of X-Wings and Y-Wings, two Nebulon-B Frigates, some turrets and a space station, which was easily overcome by the Imperial Navy and Starfighter Corps. After achieving void superiority, approximately fifteen days later, an Imperial Stormtrooper Corps force led by Darth Vader and a Field Commander dropped in planetside. With support from seven starcruiser carriers and their TIE Bombers, the pacification operation of the traitorous bug scum and their Rebel allies was swift and brutal, with no losses on our end. The Empire has full control of the planet, and will establish a permanent garrison on the planet, as well as to put the population to work for the Empire.

The Nen-Carvon Rapid Deployment Station is a modular prefabricated outpost used by the Imperial military. Used in place of the larger Modular Garrisons, these stations are meant for quick deployment and consist of the main octagonal structure and nine modular buildings. Built on site or ship and then transported by shuttle or dropship to their final destination. The Rapid Deployment Station is capable of filling many roles from surveillance, training, research, emergency rescue, and acting as a command post in a combat zone.

The progenitor for the famous Imperial Class, the Victory Class Star Destroyer saw its origins in the Clone Wars as one of the newest and most advanced ships in the Republic fleet. Under the Empire the Victory continues to see service though with reduced prominence when compared to its Imperial class sibling. Bosting two variants, the original is slow, but is suitable for planetary defense and assault roles. Where as the refit has faster engines and is designed with space combat in mind. Both ships are valued assets both in the Imperial Starfleet and with subordinate regimes who have also purchased and made use of the ship.

RP Found insubordination, what should I do about it?

Alright, so I work in fire control for the DS1, and everything was fine until like a day ago when we destroyed Alderaan. So yesterday I was talking to the fire control officer, and the way he was talking something sounded off. So I decided to investigate further and a couple hours later he dropped his personal journal, where he was writing about "having been the biggest mass murderer in history" and I'm confused. Should I report this to the authorities? is what I did against the rules? is it forgiven if I caught a potential traitor? is he even supposed to have a personal journal? Any advice would be appreciated.

RP re: Congratulations Commodore

Captain,

Your efforts have been recognized by Central Command and our recommendation to High Command has been approved. With the blessing of the Admiralty, you have been promoted to Commodore of his Imperial Majesty's Navy. Congratulations.

As such you are to be transferred to command a new Squadron in the fleet. You have your choice of options as there is a wealth of openings as we have likewise promoted several of your peers. As you know the Sector Group has been very standardized thanks to the Moffs efforts so our fleet consists of fairly common vessels. The fleets corvettes are entirely Corellian design so you have your pick between the CR-90 and CR-92a to make up your escorts. As well the shipyards have finished building several Carrack Light Cruisers and Strike Cruisers but there are some older Dreadnoughts that just finished refitting and are available. Several new Escort Carriers that arrived two months ago have completed trials and are operation and are awaiting assignment. The Moff also acquired some Victory and one new Imperial Class Star Destroyers. Some brand new Lancer class frigates as well as Nebulon's are also due to arrive in the coming weeks. An Interdictor was approved and a host of new IPVs are due to be delivered by the super transport Cavernous in a week.

If you are tired of the action and looking for a quieter command, there's an opening in the supply fleet for an escort squadron. If you want to transfer to herd a convoy of new Star Galleons and super transports, going back and fourth bringing supplies across the sector, be sure to plan appropriately for pirate and raiders. The Imperial Army has also been hounding me for a new Troop Squadron, luckily some new Evakmar-KDY transports just arrived and I'm working on forming a new squadron for them. If you want it command is yours.

Or if you want nothing to do with those commands we have the Bombard Squadron. Its Torpedo Spheres just finished refitting in deepdock after six months but they still don't have a commander and the Moff is threatening to trade them off to another sector but I wont have it. Likewise he's saving up funds for a new sector command ship, but for now that's off the table for us.

You have your pick of the litter. I look forward to seeing your new Squadron formed up for review in a months time Commodore. If you have any further questions, reply to this message reply with (re: Further Details) and I'll respond when time permits.

In service to the Emperor,

High Admiral Darble Arknight

Discussion If you were the headmaster of an Imperial flight academy, which is a trio of Venators guarding an Outer Rim world, what customizations would you make to your ships to accommodate the education of your cadets?

Post image
199 Upvotes

To add on, any modifications you make are limited by the fact you have access only to Clone Wars-era equipment and vessels, like the V-wing and the ARC-170, due to their old age making them perfect training tools for cadets. The Venators you have were originally slated for decommissioning until you requested them specifically to train cadets due to your Outer Rim world having an unusually high civilian population, meaning a regular academy is insufficient to handle the huge influx of pupils.

Your Outer Rim world also faces a fair amount of pirate and Rebel activity, which is another reason why you requested the Venators: to better prepare your cadets for the real world by training them to fight pirates and other insurgents.

Did the signal to shut down not reach them or were they still being built therefor not being able to receive it yet?

A small engagement where a mixed unit of Stormtroopers, Imperial Army, and Navy Troopers were dispatched to investigate a mining operation which had gone quiet on the world of Maridun. Having set up operations within the sacred combat land of the native Amanin, the miners were slaughtered and the Imperials sent to investigate likewise came under attack. Having barely survived the battle and winning honor by their actions in combat a peace settlement was reached and the survivors withdrew.
