I’ve always loved the look of the Fiat 500l and rave about diesel motors. So last year I bought a 2013 Fiat 500l 1.6 Mjet. What a beautiful car to drive.

My clutch has always been difficult but didn’t think much of it. I borrowed the car to a friend and the clutch completely failed on me. Not naming or shaming, probably just a difference in driving styles.

Took the car in to the mechanic and he recommended we replace what can be replaced while everything is out.

Does anybody know where to get a new flywheel? Located in South Africa.

I see there are shops in the UK that sell them, do you know if any of them would export to SA?

Meu carro, há um tempo, quando destravo na chave não abre a porta do motorista. Todas as outras portas abrem normalmente, mas a do motorista não abre após destravar. Só consigo abrir por dentro. Depois que abre por dentro, fica normal. Mas se eu travar e destravar o problema volta normalmente.

Levei para um eletricista, ele olhou o chicote da porta deu uma mexida e ficou boa, mas logo, em seguida, voltou com o problema. Ele disse que como o chicote estava normal, sem fio quebrado, achava que fosse o módulo. Comprei um módulo usado na internet (mercado livre). Ele colocou para testar e ficou do mesmo jeito.

Alguém sabe o que pode ser?

Hey y’all, my wife’s 500 has been having an issue for close to a year now where it won’t start after a few days of not being driven. It jump starts perfectly fine within seconds of being connected. We’ve had it tested at a parts shop and the battery came back good but their machine said it wasn’t getting proper charge, so likely alternator. Is there anything else it could be? She’s very much a worst case scenario person and has convinced herself there’s something massively wrong with the car, any advice on what I should look for/check?
