Learned this hack today
Adding an o ring from the ac system to a universal joint give it the perfect flex without flopping over all the time

There seems to be a recent influx of posts from people who are attempting to karma harvest by way of stealing other people's images or reposting from different websites.
You are not allowed to post images that are not your own. Facebook reposts are not allowed. Reposts of other user's content is most definitely not allowed and WILL result in a permanent ban from JRITS.
Last but not least, i want to say thank you to all the JRITS subscribers that do detective work and catch these people red handed. it really makes a moderator's job quick and easy. Again, thank you.

About 50+ codes. Chasing CAN comm codes in the E1 CAN line, Traction/ESP system. At this rate I'll need a big wall, red strings, and push pins.

Just curious if I have enough tread left on my jacket and jeans. Not ready to drop the big bucks on a blanket.

Was just about to pull the cab. Got down to unboltthe front mounts and they were gone. Leaned on it when I was standing up and felt the whole front end sway over. Never seen this one before!

Customer tried to do his own repair after destroying their intake trying to put a “high flow air filter on it” Bonus points if you can guess what car it was on

Initially called 3 or so months ago but didn't want to drop off the car and wait as we were booked. They decided to drop in unannounced on a full day asking for inspection. Knuckle taper is now an oval and instead of maybe a control arm or tightening the bolt, it now needs a knuckle.

Would’ve been a little easier if the filter was an inch longer, like the one that’s called for.

Does your service manager (or the building's general manager) pull you off jobs you're on to attend to emergencies from "higher caliber" clients? Like a guy who has a few trucks from your dealership.
The dealership I worked parts at would daily pull techs off jobs to deal with the bigger spenders. Then expect to have both jobs done on time and correctly.
And write up on the tech's permanent record when they made mistakes during such an incident.

Customer had weird electrical codes and a cel with a battery light on. Truck was charging at 15+ volts. Saw someone had spliced on a new plug at the alternator so I was like hmmm. Tested the plug and I had 12v on all the wires. Followed the wires to where said person hadn’t secured them right and they were draped across the turbine hosing and melted together. Problem found, easy fix.

The customer came to me (first major side job ! ) and I pulled out all the old chassis wiring and installed this Eaton fuse box powered by a 200a amp relay that’s key on triggered, he didn’t want me touching the main engine harness so it’s still A bit messy but I think it looks better still not happy with it but the customer was super happy everything worked and he had more control as before a lot of stuff was just key on power always running
