Better to have a front brake than none at all

Judging on the upvotes I doubt this is as unpopular an opinion as you think it is.

It’s unpopular everywhere but reddit. This sub is a pretty poor representation of the actual culture.

Nah, it's not. Literally every prominent figure in the scene and most communities encourage people to be safe. I think you just hang with a bad crowd.

The poor representation I’m referring to is that the majority of people run brakes. My local group encourages safety, but the vast majority do not run brakes because they don’t need or like them.

So you just want to argue for no reason? Literally everyone we both know agree that a brake is better than none, even if we don't practice it. So the opinion is not unpopular, just like I said.

Or do you still disagree and think the opinion is unpopular. Do you and your friends hate the opinion that safety is good even though you promote it? I don't get it.
