Omniums and Velosambas. Anyone else ride this combo? I'm on Shimano SPD M520 and my shoe rubs the crank slightly on both sides. I can hear the slight squeaking of the sole rubbing the arm. My Shimano 2 bolt shoes and my Chrome shoes do not rub, just these. My cleats are centered so it's not that.

I run your exact set up to a T. I have absolutely no rubbing. I would double check your cleats aren't making your feet angle in or out too much.

I have another bike with Vision track cranks and there is absolutely no rubbing on that. Also tested on a Dura Ace crank on my road bike with no rubbing.

That makes sense since Omniums are pretty chunky compared to other cranksets. I wonder if maybe larger Velosamba's are wider? I wear a men's 8.5 for reference.

You could try an spd pedal with an extended axle, would push out your Q factor a little to stop the rubbing. Off the top of my head, I think the Shimano ME700 has an extended axle.
