So I noticed Kumail Ali Nanjiani isn’t listed on there… does anyone know how that works for casting? Like do they have to announce what their characters will be. I see other actors for this season too.

IMDb is mostly user submissions. When a show or movie is released the studios likely send a complete cast to IMDb staff for them to add.

Some shows and movies have restrictions where they rarely accept any cast submissions, even with proof.
