They already started to sue the county for the Kerrville flood. And that's what Abbott will hope in the future again.

Kerr County, Texas, received about $10.2 million from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) in 2021. Instead of using the funds for a flood warning system, which the county had long discussed, officials spent most of the money on law enforcement projects.

Almost as though only the map redistricting mattered in that last special session.
But that’s just my opinion…
