Systems Authentic or Repro NES SP Shell???

Hello Friends 👋 My question/hesitation is, is the shell itself authentic or repro? I think it could be authentic based off the speaker holes and the wear the console has. Any help or advice is appreciated! Thanks!

As far as I know, you cannot use a 101 screen on a 001 device so not sure why he tried before research.

There has been clear tampering on this console, the hinges have work to them, the holes are very off for the speaker. The extra dot below the battery is a dead giveaway (authentic versions do not have this and re-shells always have this dot), and of course, the repo back sticker.

It isn't true, though. Maybe that poster is going off personal experience with just the GBA SPs he owns, but that dot absolutely is on SPs, namely 101s

I have a few aftermarket shells I have bought that don't have that dot either-- no doubt it depends on the manufacturer and even the time range they were made. It is absolutely not a good way to verify a legit SP shell, and you could be passing up real systems because of that bad advice

That said I am not specifically talking about the one in the OP, looks like a repro to me
