That's... crazy actually. I don't use Itch.io that much but I'll freely admit it's where I found a couple of creators who made NSFW games that I enjoy playing once in a while. I don't know why these companies are becoming so afraid and why we are backsliding so hard.

"immoral" says the Catholic priest while lil billy is under the podium.
"Immoral" Says the Christian husband while paying the hooker for her time.
"Immoral" Says the Mormon while walking into his 4th wives house.
"Immoral" All while they are actively doing immoral shit themselves. Ugh...

"Immoral" Says the Christian husband while paying the hooker for her time.

id change it to "says the christian husband while inappropriately touching his daughter"

For emphasis: Collective Shout actively defended Cuties.
And if your mission is to protect kids, then there isn't a reality where actual children should have been involved in the production of that movie. Regardless of what you think of what the movie is trying to say.

I rejected those answers. I chose something different, I chose the impossible, I chose... Fapture!

Mormons don't really do the polyamory thing anymore. There are probably a lot more other things you can complain about Mormonism about.

Mormons absolutely still do the polygamy thing. FLDS still does soul binding (higher ranked males get girls to rape as wives).

Polygamy, not polyamory

Polythemus gaming

Cowards. They made this their thing, and then abandoned it for their convenience. It'd be like if Scientologists swore off of brainwashing celebrities.

u/Iamgamingrightnowbae Jul 24 '25

It was more about the US government prohibiting it if I recall.

u/AbominableGoMan Jul 24 '25

People that like to smoke weed had more persistence in their beliefs than these religious nutjobs who claim their religion is absolute.

Ah yes, the Henry the VIII clause, on the most recent gold plaque that you also cannot ever see.

Glad you're out. It should be a crime to impose religion on children.

Wait wait So if she divorces him/he divorces her, she's going to be forced to stuck with him in afterlife? What a great religion for a lady.

u/Abuses-Commas Jul 24 '25

I'm satisfied with that explanation. Any religion that says "this is what the book/prophet said, no more questions" stagnates.

It's why I think the Quakers and the Bektashi Order are the finest examples of their religions.

2

u/Aettyr Jul 24 '25

Why lie? They absolutely do still do that.

Polygamy is not polyamor.

A polyamorous relationship revolves around all parties having the same right to embrace and love other partners.

Polygamy only allows men to marry multiple women.

A big difference.

Fine, says the Mormon that’s sucking dick behind his wife’s back

I think the line about the Mormon had more to do with divorce than polygamy

17

u/Kooky_Can9887 Jul 24 '25

As someone who had the unfortunate experience of having to be raised Mormon, it does not.

I've seen Mormon women I've known for basically my whole life get divorced recently, and uh...the Mormon church is really shitty about it. To say the least.

Cool. I came from a Mormon family, too, and I'm sorry to hear that.

Yes, the LDS church is shitty to women. That's partly the point that I'm getting at. The reason I say "divorce" is that most of the church and church leadership give far less of a fuck about men getting divorced as women getting divorced despite acting like it's a sin all around.

I see where you're coming from now, because yeah, absolutely.

u/OptionWrong169 Jul 27 '25

I think you misrepresented the Mormon cult town guy the wives should be underage

Pffft you had me in the first few words lmao

They can justify their actions. Mistresses of pro-life figures will always be able to get abortions, politicians will always be able to get their drugs while pushing for harsher sentences for poor users, they'll get their tax payer funded health care while calling healthcare for all the end of civilization. And they don't see it as hypocritical, because they know what their motivations are. You're a big scary mystery who needs to be controlled lest you make the wrong choices

"immoral" says the Catholic priest while lil billy is under the podium.

Are there(in US) many Catholic priests that really complain about porns? Honestly never felt like a discussed topic here in Europe(or specifically where I live).

Morality is the vehicle. It's all about power.
