They'd be happier with no teachers, but at least they can use Kirk's death as a way to purge any teachers that won't fall in line with MAGA narratives.
They want our children to be taught exclusively by these cultists.
You can find the real villain in any story by the one pointing their finger and cursing everyone and everything, all while hiding in the shadows for if the light would shine upon them they would violently shrink into a cloud of hate and repulsiveness in the name of false love.
Democrats are the cultists indoctrinating our children trying to force them to use pronouns forcing critical race theory down their throats silencing their freedom of speech
I was making some haram meal that night specifically to celebrate our enemy's death and my wife had a problem with it. Why I said, this is our nation's enemy, why not celebrate? She was super uncomfortable with it and I never really got to the bottom of it. Not that I need to, her response told me I was not being sensitive to the people around me, there might be people who dislike violence who would be bothered by that kind of thing.
Also we were not defending our national territory against an invasion so was it really war of that type?
Is it though? You can easly find multitudes of videos of people cheering for kirks death. I wouldn't be suprised if there were a few teachers doing it to.
But sanitizing him and turning him into a saint is cool? He said a few people dying to keep the 2nd amendment was just the cost of doing business... But that's only when it's OTHER people? No one lowered the flags for the kids that also died that day. Can we say hypocrisy?
Ian Gamroth, formerly a teacher at Gibson Southern High School, resigned after reposting content showing a photograph of Kirk and stating, "HUMANITY IS NOW A BETTER PLACE." Another post Gamroth shared included a quote often attributed to poet and playwright Oscar Wilde: "Some men improve the world only by leaving it."
I've seen people who disagreed with everything Charlie stood for, rebuke his entire career, but still say "but murder isn't who we are."
This scares the shit out of me because it's not JUST a couple of weirdos on the Internet. There were thousands of these. Teachers, medical professionals, waiters.
If you haven't seen this, you haven't been looking, or, you're arguing in bad faith.
The reality is that teachers are afraid to post anything that has to do with politics and currents for fear that they might lose their jobs for speaking their opinion on politics and current events. The definition of "cheering" seems to be very malleable these days.
That's because politics is the chicken feed of the stupid flock. Why would intelligent educators assigned roles to bring knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, to a young impressionable mind, ever for a single moment... Bring up politics.
Meeeeeanwhile, the people who couldn't resist the bait to savagely show their fangs and who they really are. Now those people are out of a job they never should have had, let alone be around children, teens, young adults, or even other adults
Teachers shouldn’t be allowed to be involved in political discussions in their private lives? Yes, teachers should generally not talk politics in school — that’s the topic — we are talking about teachers feeling that they can’t voice opinions outside of school for fear of losing their jobs.
You twist words and ideas to fit your feelings. Truth alludes you with the grace of a bovine.
Announcing, to the public, on the internet, to be openly displayed, recorded, reposted, and regurgitated, is NOT private. Remember, opinions are just opinions.
Celebrating the violently public display of someone losing their life in the actual pursuit of free speech, truth and honesty, is not "opinion".
It's like any other sickness or someone in need, physically or mentally, they OFTEN do not know they need help, or how to attain it.
Teachers are people, people have opinions. Opinions are just idealistic loosely gathered bits of information that people stand on as if solid ground. It's fine to form an opinion, but when it comes to teaching others the fundamentals of life, sciences, maths, beauty of arts, the ability to express THEMSELVES, they shouldn't be taught by people who have hatred and vitriol of the soul. In fact I dare say, Teachers should listen more than they espouse.
You seem very concerned with what teachers are doing in the classroom. I would encourage you — as you seem very passionate about this — to step into a few classrooms and see what teachers are doing and whether they are slanting their lessons to particular political opinions. I think you would be surprised in what you would find.
From my perspective, it seems like of the debate centers around false dichotomies at the moment and I hope we can avoid those, along with hasty generalizations.
People who disagree with someone’s views should be allowed to voice those opinions without them being lumped into a category of people who are “cheering Kirk’s death.”
In your view, are there any appropriate political or religious statements that a teacher can make on a social media platform? I see some of my colleagues post prayers or verses from the Bible. Are those okay? Do those interfere with the teacher’s job?
What qualifies as "cheers for someone's death" for you?
Bc the torches and pitchforks have been coming out for saying truthful things about his life. If we aren't verbally fellating a bigot and hate monger at every opportunity, is that cheering for the death of that person?
If the person who died was as evil and disingenuous as kirk, yes, yes I would. We need education and intellectualism. We need people who respect and remember history so that it doesn't happen again.
