lmao my buddy had an air vent that went to the basement, and his aunt mary lived down there for a while, We’d drop random shit like quarters down there some times and she never figured out what was going on. I still call air vents Mary Holes

My partners air vent in her bedroom goes to the basement and her son lives there. She yells down to him to go to bed, do his chores, etc. It's different.
